Author Elizabeth Stone once wrote, “Making the decision to have a child… is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body.” This, and the multiplying effect a mother's love has on her children—and her children's children and so forth, ad infinitum—are the sentiments I tried to convey in this special piece.
